Many of you have asked for it, so we’ll be publishing one soon — a JUGA API for quick access to commonly used JUGA methods. We’ll publish the beginnings in the next few days, and that will include code for:
- adding a user to a JUGA Group
- removing a user from a JUGA Group
- checking whether a user has access to a specific URL
This will allow you ambitious ones out there to use JUGA’s groups within certain Joomla! items that currently don’t work well with JUGA, such as many of the templates out there with their own menu functions, or your custom RsForms.
This will also allow you to create your own plugins that perform JUGA-related functions specific to your website… The possibilities are only as limited as your imagination.
We’ll have it up soon! Thanks!

CONTENT SUBMIT allows you to create front-end "Article Submission forms" that are specific to an existing category or section.
|
Do you want your "Teachers" group to only be able to publish to one section? Do you want your "Students" to only be able to publish to another? CONTENT SUBMIT allows you to do that.
This also means you can now use JUGA’s groups to restrict FRONT-END publication to a single category or section. In Joomla! 1.5.x.
‘Nuff said…. for now.
