You will also want to view the HowTo on Restricting Content -- it contains a video tutorial that uses the JUGA Main Menu Module and demonstrates it in use.
The JUGA Module, Main Menu is the JUGA replacement for mod_mainmenu. Use it instead of
mod_mainmenu for all your menus and it will hide from view menu items
that a user does not have access to.
After installing the module, browse to Joomla's Module Manager and search for "Main Menu". You'll find the JUGA Module, Main Menu listed there.
Make a copy of the Main Menu - JUGA so that you always have an original to play with. After copying it, you should have two entries of mod_mainmenu_juga

Edit the "Copy of Main Menu - JUGA" and be sure to modify at least these parameters:
- The title
- Whether or not it's published
- Which of your menus it is associated with
Save it and you're good to go!
After publishing the module replacement, it works off of the currently existing JUGA restrictions.
Let's say, for example, that you have a menu item in mainmenu for content article #19. If only users in the JUGA->Group "Paying Members" are allowed access to it, the link to content article #19 will only display if the user is a member of that JUGA->Group.
