| In JUGA->Site Items, you'll perform the majority of your JUGA actions. JUGA->Site Items is a workhorse. It is where you will manage your JUGA restrictions by synchronizing JUGA with your Joomla website's Content Items and Components, then assigning JUGA access rights to JUGA->Groups. There are a number of commands so stick with us as we work through them. Most of your questions can be answered by reading the following information... First, though, let's take a quick look at the entire screen. We'll be referring to commands by both their name and the red number next to them. | | | Sync: Synchronizes JUGA with your Joomla website's content items and Components. You really only need to do this once -- upon your first installation or when you install a new component. | | Default: Gives the default_juga group (as defined in JUGA>>Config) access to the selected Site Items. | | Withdraw: Removes *all* JUGA access privileges for the selected items. | | FLEX + and FLEX - : These quickly assign/remove users from the flex_juga group (as defined in JUGA>>Config). Use the checkboxes to select which JUGA->Site Items will be impacted. So, for example, if you want to quickly assign a bunch of Site Items to one of your particular JUGA Groups, set that JUGA Group as your Flex, then use Flex + to assign them. | | Default CE & Remove CE: Add and remove the Custom Error URL from the selected items. When adding, Default CE will add the default_ce (as defined in the JUGA->Config Menu). For a description of what the CE URL is, see the Config Menu manual | | Publish & Unpublish CE: Publish & unpublish the Custom Error Url for the selected Items | | In/Exclude: This button will switch the selected JUGA->Site Items' Inclusion status. If a JUGA->Site Item is excluded from JUGA's restrictions, it will be accessible to everyone. For more information on exclusion, please see our HowTo | | | | | ALSO: | The "Site" column tells you which side of your Joomla website the JUGA>>Site Item refers to, either your front-end or your admin-side. Restrictions work in the exact same manner for both sides--you just need to tell JUGA which Admin Groups to allow access to! | Editing Site Items JUGA will automatically create new JUGA->Site Items when you have the Mambot/Plugin activated. You may modify the field values for a particular JUGA->Site Item from the JUGA->Site Items menu. Each of the field entries has a Tooltip explaining what it is. Please refer to the sample URL from the form for further clarification. | | | | |
