SYNK is a Joomla! Database Synchronization component. If you manage multiple sites and want to allow your users to use a single login id & password for *all* of your sites, then SYNK is for you. SYNK will synchronize the #__users table in the selected databases (even across multiple domains) upon the user events you select, such as onLogin and onAfterStoreUser.

SYNK also allows you to synchronize your content across your many Joomla websites.  SYNK will synchronize your #__content table in the selected databases upon the content events you select, such as onAfterContentSave and onAfterDisplayContent.

SYNK also allows your to execute custom database queries upon user events (login, logout, updating profile, creation, etc.) and content events (save, view, etc), so now you can add/remove a user from a group upon login or update any other table while referencing the ID number of the user or content.

If you can think of any other uses for SYNK that we haven't built in, let us know! SYNK is plugin-friendly, so a plugin could be created for it to make SYNK do anything... synchronize your Community Builder database tables, Fireboard forum tables, Ajax shoutboxes, etc.

SYNK uses the Joomla! 1.5 language system, so with the use of a free component such as com_translationmanager, you can translate SYNK into your own language with a few clicks.
